A 4-month-old female Scottish Fold kitten was presented for treatment of non-ambulatory paraplegia accompanied by urinary and fecal incontinence. Radiographs revealed T10 and T11 vertebral body fractures with spinal cord compression. Traditional Chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM) therapy which included acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and Tui-na were used to address the paralysis and incontinence. Daily Tui-na was started along with laser acupuncture every other day when she was hospitalized. The Chinese herbal medicine formulas administered orally to the kitten included: Xiao Huo Luo Dan, Bu Yang Huan Wu and Shen Tong Zhu Yu. Three months after treatment, she could walk normally and the urinary and fecal incontinence had resolved.
