The American Journal of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (AJTCVM) is an international, peer-reviewed journal for the publication of the highest-quality, original scientific research in all branches of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM).

The AJTCVM was established by experienced TCVM practitioners in 2006, to promote the generation of evidence-based, scientific research in veterinary acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui-na and food therapy.

The AJTCVM is the official journal of the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (AATCVM), the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture (AAVA), the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS), and the World Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (WATCVM). The Journal is published twice yearly and contains high-quality basic science and clinical research about TCVM topics in a variety of species. In addition, review articles, commentaries, “Pearls from TCVM Practice” and brief communications provide relevant clinical information. Your subscription to the AJTCVM will expand and enhance your practitioner’s knowledge while promoting the publication of high-quality TCVM research.

Membership with the AATCVM, WATCVM, AAVA, or IVAS includes an online subscription to AJTCVM. The Journal is published twice yearly in February and August.
