Abstract

The Earth Element represents all phenomena related to food, moisture and golden-yellow coloration. Its Zang-fu organs are the Spleen and Stomach, which are the chief organs of digestion, and provide the foundation for Qi and Blood. There are predominately 10 traditional Chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM) Patterns diagnosed with Spleen and Stomach Zang-fu organ disease. A summary of the pathology of these TCVM Patterns and appropriate acupuncture points for treatment are provided to aid the TCVM veterinarian when approaching treatment for disease associated with the Earth Element.
